Duly before the actual procedure takes place, we will take all general examinations and X-rays required. For our surgical treatments, we make use of local anesthesia and -if necessary- intramuscular or intravenous sedative injections. The latter acts like slight anesthesia, which still allows for patient-doctor-communication. For anxious of nervous patients we recommend sedated treatment. I am member of EFAAD and IFDAS. EFAAD and IFDAS advocate the use of sedatives for dentosurgical procedures.
